Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC)
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) is a flagship initiative of the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), established to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking among students and faculty. The centre serves as a platform where innovative ideas are transformed into practical solutions through research, collaboration, and entrepreneurial activities.
At Sree Anjaneya Institute of Dental Sciences (SAIDS), the IEDC encourages students to think beyond conventional learning by promoting innovation, technology, research, and startup culture. The centre provides opportunities to participate in workshops, boot camps, hackathons, mentoring sessions, and industry interactions that help students develop entrepreneurial competencies.
Through continuous guidance from faculty mentors, industry experts, and startup leaders, students gain exposure to emerging technologies, product development, business planning, intellectual property rights, and innovation management. The IEDC nurtures future healthcare innovators and entrepreneurs capable of creating meaningful solutions for society.
The centre also promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, encourages student-led projects, and supports startup initiatives that contribute to technological advancement and community development.

- Encourage students to develop innovative ideas and convert them into sustainable products, services, and startup ventures.
- Organize workshops, seminars, boot camps, innovation challenges, hackathons, and entrepreneurship development programs to enhance practical skills.
