The Department of Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics specializes in the correction of defects in the jaws and teeth through the use of various removable and fixed appliances. The treatment takes the form of pre-adjusted edgewise appliances, lingual appliances, ceramic braces, myofunctional appliances, clear aligners, surgical orthodontics and micro implant-based orthodontics. The department has an advanced digital imaging and treatment simulation system, a first, which enables planning of complex procedures.
