Dr. Soumithran C. S. is a distinguished dental academician, clinician, and administrator with over 33 years of experience in dental education, clinical practice, and academic administration. He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Manipal and a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
With a long and accomplished career in Kerala's government medical and dental education sector, Dr. Soumithran has made significant contributions to undergraduate and postgraduate dental education, clinical training, and academic administration. He has served as the Former Principal of Government Dental College, Kozhikode, and as the Former Dean of Dentistry at the University of Calicut.
Throughout his academic career, he has been actively involved in various Undergraduate and Postgraduate University Boards, contributing his expertise to curriculum development, academic evaluation, examination processes, and the advancement of dental education in Kerala.
His clinical expertise encompasses Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dental Implantology, and Cosmetic Facial Procedures. His extensive experience in complex surgical procedures and patient care has contributed to the development of clinical excellence among generations of dental students and professionals.
